The Edge Brewing Co. experience

My good friend and I went to visit Edge Brewery & Restaurant without knowing anything except they are one of the popular names in the local brewery industry. I have a few compliments and criticisms for Edge Brewing. The Food The menu had a large selection of unique selection of delicious sounding options, such as stuffed mushrooms, street tacos, or the peanut butter bacon burger. We enjoyed a plate of the kettle chip nachos. If you're looking for a good, diverse selection of food, Edge is a great place. The Beer Given Edge is a brewing company, we mainly visited the brewpub for the beer. Although we both only had one off the list , we were satisfied with our choices. My friend is now a big fan the Habanero Lager. If you're looking for good beer, this place is a fine choice. The Atmosphere The atmosphere I enjoy in a brewery can be affected my many factors. A warm escape on a winter day: Powderhaus

Imagine the feeling you get on a cold winter day and you walk into a cabin and you're greeted by friendly faces and good beer. That's Powderhaus . My friend and I visited on a snowy Saturday afternoon, so the environment was fitting. The walls and furniture are akin to a log cabin making the whole place cozy and welcoming. In the corner friends can lounge on a ski bench or compete at a quick Pop-A-Shot basketball game. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and dove right in. We ordered a flight of five beers. Among our samples were the Prusik Pilsner and the Haus Session Ale. Both were delightful. The Prusik is described on their website as "a  true Czech-style Pilsner crafted with a carefully selected lager yeast strain, Idaho-grown Saaz hops and a light, crisp body."
